Grainy gradients, marble, terrain and still lifes

Abstract background and grainy gradient generator

Generate abstract backgrounds in one click for your posters, websites, album covers or stories: blurred silhouettes turned into grainy color bands, bookbinding-style marbled paper, iridescent relief maps, cut-out still lifes, or your own photo turned into flat colors. Every background is unique and regenerates endlessly with the space bar.

How it works

  1. Choose a style: Crowd, Marble, Terrain, Nature or Image.
  2. Adjust the shape, the colors (up to 8 inks), grain, dithering and vignette. Press the space bar for a new variation.
  3. Export as PNG, as SVG with real vector bands, or as a looping MP4 video.

FAQ

How do I get a “grainy” background?

Raise the Grain setting in the Texture section. Dithering (Bayer or noise) adds an extra print effect.

Can the background be exported as vectors?

Yes: the color bands are exported as vector shapes in the SVG. The grain can be added as an image if you tick the option.

Can I use my own photo?

Yes: upload it as a background (the pattern blends over it) or choose the Image style to turn it into flat colors.
