Intellectual property

The site’s design, texts and code are the property of Jérôme Enel-Réhel. The visuals you create with the tools belong to you: you may use them freely, including in commercial projects, subject to the rights of any images or fonts you upload yourself.

The site uses open-source components: d3-array and d3-contour (ISC license), mp4-muxer (MIT license), Google Fonts typefaces (SIL Open Font License) and the Cabinet Grotesk typeface from Fontshare (ITF Free Font License), hosted on this site — full license texts.

Personal data (GDPR)

Data controller: Jérôme Enel-Réhel (ENEL-REHEL STUDIO GRAPHIQUE, 2 rue Théodore Monod, 35400 Saint-Malo, France). The site does not sell, rent or share any personal data.

Contact form

• Data collected: name, e-mail address, desired tool (optional), message, and the page the message is sent from.
• Purpose: answering your request and discussing your graphic tool needs with you.
• Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the form’s box (article 6.1.a of the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
• Recipient: Jérôme Enel-Réhel only. The message is sent by e-mail from the server of the host Infomaniak, located in Switzerland (a country recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection). No form data is stored on the site.
• Retention period: messages are kept in the mailbox for as long as it takes to handle your request, then at most 3 years after our last exchange.
• Anti-spam: an invisible field filters out robots; no third-party service (such as reCAPTCHA) is used.

Audience measurement

The site uses Matomo, an open-source analytics tool hosted by the publisher himself (matomo.enel-rehel.com): the data is never passed on to any third party. It works without cookies, visitors’ IP addresses are anonymized, and the data is only used to produce anonymous statistics (page views, tools used, exports made). Configured this way, it is exempt from consent under the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority). You can still choose not to be counted:

Google Fonts

The interface and tool fonts are hosted on this site: displaying them contacts no outside server. Only the other fonts of the Pattern tool’s catalog are loaded from Google’s servers (Google Fonts), and only when you browse them or pick one. Your browser then sends your IP address to Google, which may process it under its privacy policy.

Your images and settings

The images and fonts you upload into the tools are processed directly in your browser: they are never sent over the Internet. Your settings are remembered in your browser’s local storage for your convenience; they are never transmitted and are erased when you delete the site’s data in your browser.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise them, write to info@enel-rehel.com or use the contact form. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
