Fluid gradients and iridescent 3D reliefs

Mesh gradient and iridescent 3D relief generator

Create soft, organic gradients by placing color points right on the preview. Colors blend in a perceptual color space (OKLab) for natural transitions with no gray areas. Add a fabric-like ripple, a swirl and grain, or pick the colors from a photo. Switch to 3D relief to turn your colors into smooth landscapes and sculptures, lit with a holographic rainbow sheen.

How it works

  1. Start from a preset or a random gradient (space bar).
  2. Drag the points with the mouse and change their colors, or choose the 3D relief rendering: shape, height, rainbow iridescence, light, sky and haze.
  3. Export as PNG, as an animated MP4 video, or as an editable SVG with the vector rendering.

What you can do

  • Up to 12 draggable color points
  • OKLab blending for luminous gradients
  • 3D relief: iridescent landscapes and sculptures
  • Holographic rainbow sheen, adjustable light
  • Wavesss: liquid marbling with pearly sheen, animatable
  • Ripple, swirl and grain
  • Colors picked from a photo
  • Vector rendering editable in Illustrator

FAQ

What is a mesh gradient?

It is a gradient with several color points blending in every direction, richer than a linear or radial gradient.

What is the 3D relief rendering?

It turns the gradient’s colors into a smooth volume, a landscape of hills or a pierced sculpture, lit by a grazing light. A rainbow sheen appears on the border between shadow and light, like on a holographic surface. The color points then act as a palette, from shadows to highlights.

Can I use it in Illustrator?

Yes: choose the Vector rendering, the SVG contains fully editable radial gradients. In Fluid rendering, the gradient is embedded in high resolution.

How do I take the colors from a photo?

Upload an image in the “Colors from an image” section: each point takes the color of the photo at its position.
